A successful PPC campaign that beat all expectations

Scope Training are a specialised apprenticeship and training provider for Pharmaceutical, Childcare, and Optometry. TFA created a digital marketing strategy for Scope targeting employers looking to train and develop their current workforce.

This project included developing an effective PPC (Pay-Per-Click) campaign, a digital advertising strategy which results in precise audience targeting and effective client engagement by capturing high-intent search traffic. 

Our team was tasked with generating 300 high-quality employer pharmacy contacts within a set timeframe, and strategically targeting employers interested in enrolling in part-funded apprenticeship placements.

To guarantee the campaign’s success, our creative, digital, and content teams worked collaboratively to develop highly targeted ads, and implemented a split-testing strategy to analyse the effectiveness of different messaging and visuals, optimising engagement and conversion rates. Each ad was carefully created, showcasing Scope Training’s apprenticeship programs in a way that captured attention and made people click.

Exceeding Our Click-Through Rate Targets

TFA beat expectations to reach over 350 potential customers, a 17% over target. The campaign generated 1,390 total form submissions, yielding a conversion rate of 8.49% – way above the average Google Ads conversion rate of 3-5%. With over 16,400 clicks and a high CTR of 12.07%, the PPC ads got the right kind of attention, Scope Training have already made plans to continue the campaigns for the year, and we’re exploring fresh campaigns.

This campaign is a great example of how digital marketing channels like Google and Linkedin can effectively promote a training course.
