Their previous prospectus was a fairly dull and dreary affair. Although it was clear and concise, it didn’t really do the business in ‘selling’ the college and visually, it was very uninspiring – not what you need when trying to appeal to school leavers and young adults! As a skilled and experienced creative marketing agency, our graphic designers looked at various different ways the design of the prospectus could be enhanced with not only vibrant colours and imagery, but also different print effects; such as metallic ink and hexachrome printing. As experienced brand consultants, we also ensured that whilst the new prospectus design would be a departure from their previous offering, it would still sit nicely with MK College’s current branding and marketing collateral.
As part of the service of designing the new prospectus, our team of copywriters also proof-read the content and gave it a good polish. This not only ensured the information contained within it was accurate, it also meant that it appealed directly to the people that Milton Keynes College were trying to attract. The final prospectus design was turned around in just under two weeks – a fantastic achievement for an 80-page content heavy book that was designed from scratch.
Milton Keynes College have been extremely pleased with the finished product and it now forms an integral part of their marketing collateral for 2014 and beyond. The successful completion of the full time prospectus was also the catalyst to the design and build of the College’s brand new website by our website developers – a huge, immersive 200 page website that is now up, live and is essentially, the face of the College.
